Stringers:         3 each, Minimum 1 ¼” x 3 1/2 “ x 48”

Notch:               Depth:  Minimum 1 ¼”

                           Location: 6” from end of stringer

                           Length: 9”

                           Radius: .75”

Top Deck:         5 Boards, Minimum 5/8” x 3 ½” x 40” (+/- 1/16” board thickness)

                           2 Lead Boards, Minimum 5/8” x 5 ½” x 40” (+/- 1/16” board thickness)

Bottom Beck:    3 Boards, Minimum 5/8” x 3 ½” x 40” (+/- 1/16” board thickness)

                           2 Lead Boards, Minimum 5/8” x 5 ½” x 40” (+/- 1/16” board thickness)

Fasteners:          Must be repaired with screw nails – No Staples – No exposed fasteners

                            All fasteners must be countersunk

Repairs:

1. Pallets will be suitable for use in automated machinery
2. Broken deckboards will be replaced with new or used decking and nailed accordingly. 4” or 6” wide lead boards on top and bottom. Maximum 4” space between deckboards.
3. Lead boards are flush with end of stringer (no more than 1 ½” back over 10” of board is allowable)
4. Stringers may only include minimal plates and corrugates. Stringers must have no missing wood. Stringers shall have no block or companion board repairs.
5. All protruding nails will be repaired.
6. Top lead boards may be 4” wide providing the gap between lead board and second board is less than 3 ½”. 
7. All pallets will be clean and free from surface dirt and debris. Pallets are free from insects, bird droppings and nests, dirt, and metal shavings: suitable for food products and food warehouses. 

Pallets are to look like “newer” condition.
